There’s fair trade, there’s direct trade, then there’s straight from a single family plantation in Atenas, Costa Rica. When Unicycle was asked to brand this select coffee, we wanted to find a name that would say it all. When we found out the name of the matriarch of the farm was ‘Sole’ and that the word has the same meaning in Costa Rican Spanish as in English, we knew we had it. After sending press-ready PDF’s all the way to San Jose Costa Rica, we waited to hear how the designs were received.
